Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has reiterated his party's commitment to conducting a caste-based census in Chhattisgarh if they retain power. He criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not revealing the caste data that the Congress had presented. Rahul also accused the BJP of disrespecting Adivasis and hindering the education and progress of tribal and Dalit children. He promised to increase the minimum support price for paddy and make the tribals happier if the Congress comes to power in Chhattisgarh.
