A man has been arrested by the Wadala police in Mumbai for killing a woman in order to steal her jewelry. The woman's body, partially burnt and disfigured, was found inside a gunny bag in Wadala on October 26. The police were able to identify the victim based on her red hair and information from a shopkeeper. The accused confessed to hitting the woman and then burning her body to conceal her identity. He will be produced in court for remand.
