Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra has decided to withdraw her defamation case against several media houses, while continuing the lawsuit against BJP MP Nishikant Dubey and lawyer Jai Anant Dehadrai. Moitra seeks no interim relief, and her request to remove other defendants, including social media platforms X, Google, and YouTube, was made. Dubey's counsel argued that Moitra's admission of sharing parliamentary login credentials with a businessman amounted to perjury.
