Due to a rise in snatchings along the Noida Link Road, barricades have been erected by the local police near Akshardham Mandir. The increase in snatchings occurred when private buses stopped on the flyover to pick up passengers. The barricades have successfully reduced the number of snatchings, but have caused traffic congestion issues during peak hours. Traffic officers have requested the removal of the barricades during certain times to alleviate traffic problems.
