Going red: Key buildings lit up for dyslexia awareness

In an effort to raise awareness about dyslexia, several historical monuments and government buildings in New Delhi were illuminated in red. October is designated as International Dyslexia Awareness month, with the theme "Go Red". The aim is to eliminate the stigma associated with dyslexia and other learning disabilities, end discrimination, and increase awareness. The campaign received support from the government, and a Walk4Dyslexia event was organized, attracting over 300 participants. Estimates suggest that dyslexia affects one in every five people globally, with over 200 million individuals in India alone living with a learning disability.
