The organisers of a Palestine solidarity event in Thiruvananthapuram, scheduled on Monday, have removed Congress MP Shashi Tharoor and CPM politburo member MA Baby from the list of speakers and had asked them not to attend the function. Mahal Empowerment Mission (MEM), an organization of Muslim Jamaat operating in Kerala's capital city, is upset after Tharoor called Hamas terrorists during his speech at IUML's pro-Palestine rally in Kozhikode on Thursday.
