Delhi: Barapullah project may miss its December deadline too

The Public Works Department (PWD) in New Delhi is still in need of half an acre of land to complete the construction of the Barapullah elevated road. The lieutenant governor recently approved the acquisition of land for the project, but there are still several processes that need to be completed before the land can be handed over to the PWD. The project, which was initially supposed to be completed in 2017, has been delayed by over six years. The PWD has already received some land parcels, but the project is now facing further delays.
