Jammu and Kashmir: Security forces kill 5 LeT terrorists along LoC, respond 'befittingly' to Pakistan's firing at International Border
Five LeT terrorists were killed by security forces during an infiltration attempt across the LoC in Kupwara. The operation was carried out by the police and army based on intelligence input. In a separate incident, Pakistan Rangers fired at Indian posts along the IB in Jammu, injuring a BSF jawan and four civilians. The BSF retaliated to the unprovoked firing. Ceasefire violations and infiltration attempts have been a recurring issue along the LoC and IB.
