Former Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab, Sukhbir Badal, has urged the Central government to return the Golden Temple model to the SGPC if it cannot preserve it. The highest bid for the revered model has crossed Rs 11 lakh. Sukhbir expressed his sadness over the auctioning of the model, stating that it is a symbol of divine blessings and deeply hurts the religious sentiments of the Sikh community. The auction is being held by the National Gallery of Modern Art and will end on October 31.
