Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has laid the foundation stone for the restoration of Gole Market, which will be transformed into a museum dedicated to women achievers in India. Named 'Virangana,' the museum will showcase contributions made by women in various fields and the struggle for independence. The project, which has been pending for over 15 years, is expected to be completed in less than one and a half years. The restoration will preserve the historic structure, and the project will also include a subway, parking facilities, and public amenities.
