Bombay HC quashes MPCB closure order against Baramati Agro units
Holding that the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) acted in haste, on a single inspection and overlooked important factors including reply of Baramati Agro Ltd and principle of proportionality, Bombay high court quashed and set aside a September 28, closure notice issued to two units run by the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA Rohit Pawar led company.
