Replicas of 15 heritage sites to adorn Delhi's Karol Bagh park

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi is set to begin work on a heritage park at Karol Bagh, featuring replicas of 15 UNESCO-listed Indian monuments. The 24-acre Ajmal Khan Park will follow a waste-to-art theme and is expected to be completed within six months. The park will have ticketed entry and ample parking space. The project, which has been funded by Member of Parliament Meenakshi Lekhi, was initially planned to showcase heritage from G20 countries but was later changed to focus on Indian monuments. The implementing agency will also be responsible for maintaining the park for one year.
