Light rain cleans Delhi's air, temperature dips to 13°C at Ridge

Light rain and gusty winds in Delhi led to a drop in pollution levels and improved air quality on Tuesday. The rain, coupled with cold winds from the Himalayas, lowered the mercury and improved air quality to satisfactory levels. However, the air quality is expected to worsen in the coming days due to an increase in biomass burning. The maximum temperature dropped by four degrees, while the minimum temperature reached the lowest of the season so far. The weather department predicts below-average temperatures for the next few days.
