Delhi feels whiff of winter, AQI to stay poor for now

Delhi's air quality remained poor on Monday, despite a drop in temperatures. The air quality index was at 207, in the moderate category. Experts warned that the relief would not last long, as cold weather and farm fires were expected to increase pollution levels in the coming days. On Sunday, some areas of the capital had reached the severe category due to dust-raising winds. The air quality is predicted to remain poor until October 25. The city also experienced a decline in maximum temperatures on Monday, with the possibility of light rain on Tuesday.
