Saxena highlighted that the number of incidents of stubble burning in both states this year has been higher than in previous years. He emphasized the need to address this issue to improve air quality in Delhi-NCR towns. The city's air quality has remained poor, with an Air Quality Index of 257. Saxena called on the chief ministers to galvanize resources and prevent crop residue burning to protect the health of Delhi's residents.
