Mumbai students, citizens participate in Walk for Freedom
The march was organized in Mumbai and 40 other locations across Maharashtra. In Mumbai participants marched with banners at Kala Ghoda, Girgaum Chowpatty, Powai, Panvel, Shivajinagar, Mandala, Maharashtra Nagar and at Thane at Kalwa and Nalasopara. College students, slum communities, corporates and civil society members participated in the march. Over 14,000 persons participated in the Walk for Freedom across the state, said a press release.
