Palghar: Man kills teen after marriage proposal is turned down
An 18-year-old student was killed with a sickle by a 22-year-old man in Palghar district. The victim, Archana Udhar, was returning to her hostel when the accused, Prabhakar Waghere, attacked her from behind. He had reportedly wanted to marry her, but she refused. The accused is now absconding.
