Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) will be reducing the prices of CNG and piped cooking gas in the Mumbai metropolitan region starting from Monday. The price of CNG will be decreased by Rs 3/kg and domestic piped cooking gas by Rs 2 per unit. This reduction in prices will benefit around 10 lakh CNG vehicle users in the region, including private car owners, auto-taxi drivers, and school bus drivers. MGL has always passed on the reduction in gas costs to its consumers and the new rates will provide attractive savings compared to petrol and diesel.
