Ten people, including a 14-year-old boy and his father, drowned during Ganesh idol immersions across Maharashtra. In one incident, a 30-year-old man is feared drowned after being swept away with the father-son duo in the Ulhas river. The victims had entered the river to immerse the idol but got stuck in the sludge. While some onlookers managed to rescue one of the boys, the father and another man were swept away by the strong current. A search is still ongoing for the missing man.
