Gujarat high court takes up alleged rape at GNLU, bullying of queer student
The Gujarat high court took suo motu cognisance on Monday of allegations involving the rape of a woman student by a batch-mate and harassment of a queer student at Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) in Gandhinagar, asking the institute to submit a report. These allegations were reported anonymously on an Instagram page, and the university did not take action due to the absence of formal complaints.
