The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi has instructed government agencies to provide "before and after" photographs along with progress reports of developmental projects. The instruction comes after the Lieutenant Governor's visit to various areas in east Delhi, where he expressed displeasure over the poor condition of roads, garbage accumulation, choked drains, and unkempt public spaces. He directed officials to begin repair and beautification work immediately. The Lieutenant Governor also expressed frustration at the neglect of these areas by civic agencies in the past.
