Gang involved in auto-rickshaw thefts from Mumbai and Thane held
The Bhiwandi Crime Branch unit of the Thane Police has arrested a gang of four men involved in stealing auto-rickshaws from Mumbai and Thane. They would alter the number plates and sell the stolen vehicles in interior regions of Maharashtra. The police have recovered 18 stolen rickshaws and have solved 12 cases so far. The arrested men have been identified as Rashid Khan, Sayyed Ali Shaikh, Ehtesham Siddiqui, and Jamil Ansari.
