Two staffers of a club in Noida were arrested and its liquor license was suspended after they were caught pouring cheaper liquor into bottles of expensive brands to serve customers. The excise department also arrested two individuals for illegal liquor transportation. In other news, a chicken outlet in Ludhiana was raided for serving liquor without a license, while a house in Lucknow was busted for producing adulterated alcohol. Additionally, liquor bottles worth Rs 1.6 lakh were stolen from a store in Nashik. Multiple arrests were made in Greater Noida, Lucknow, and Indore for illegal liquor activities.
