The Economic Offences Wing of the Mumbai Police arrested a senior executive, Mohammed Farhan Malik (33), of Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) who allegedly used fake invoices to illegally convert the saleable goods into damaged stock and sold it in the market, under pretext of destroying it, causing loses of Rs 35 crore to HUL. Last week, the police had arrested two accused in the case who aided and abetted Malik.
