Mumbai: Sliced white bread price up by Rs 2-Rs 8 per loaf now
Dealing a substantial blow to the daily household budget, the price of sliced white bread has increased by Rs 2 to Rs 8 per loaf owing to the soaring costs of maida (refined flour). Major manufacturers including Britannia, Wibs and Modern all raised prices starting September 8.
