India's National Education Policy 2020 (NEP) received a virtual endorsement at the G20 Summit as its Declaration recognised the importance of foundational learning (literacy, numeracy and socio-emotional skills) while emphasising on life-long learning through skilling, re-skilling and upskilling, which are among the focus areas of NEP.
