Tomatoes to be sold for Rs 50/kg in Delhi-NCR from today
From Tuesday, the two central government-owned cooperatives - NAFED and NCCF - will sell tomatoes in the Delhi-NCR at Rs 50 a kg. The consumer affairs ministry said it has directed the two agencies to make tomatoes available at the revised price and the rates have been slashed in view of the decline in the wholesale prices.
