Union home minister Amit Shah on Wednesday accused the opposition of doing shameful politics over violence in Manipur. "What happened in Manipur is shameful, but to do politics over it is worse," he said during the debate on no-confidence motion. "I agree there have been incidents of violence in Manipur. I am saddened by these incidents. No one can support such incidents," Amit Shah said and added that the government is doing everything possible to restore peace in the state.
