BMC to vax stray dogs, make city 'rabies-free'
he BMC has taken up an initiative to vaccinate stray dogs and to make Mumbai 'rabies free'. In line with it on Tuesday, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between BMC and Mission Rabies and Worldwide Veterinary Services (WVS). As per this agreement, about one lakh stray dogs in Mumbai will be vaccinated against rabies every year.
