Bombay HC to TMC: Do not allow plots designated for cremation grounds, cemeteries for other use
The Bombay high court in an interim direction on Wednesday observed that the TMC (Thane Municipal Corporation) has unsatisfactorily explained the encumbrances on plots that had been designated as cremation or burial grounds in the DP (development plan) and directed that such plots not to be put to any other use.
