Men account for only 3% of sterilisation ops in city
Although only 480 men underwent sterilisation operation in 2022-2023 as compared to 30 times the number of women (14,029), civic officials say there's reason to cheer. This is because in the previous year, less than a tenth - only 43 men - underwent sterilisation.
