The defeat in Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka assembly elections due to guarantees promised by the Congress seems to have taught the BJP a lesson. On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered two speeches – one in Delhi and the other one at Shahdol in Madhya Pradesh – and “Modi’s guarantee” was the refrain at both the places.
