Over 10 days after a senior citizen was run over by a BEST bus while walking home at Borivali, she is in hospital with a grievous leg injury and bills that she is finding difficult to pay. Manjula Kawa, 60, suffered an ankle dislocation and an injury in which skin from the thigh to the foot was torn off from the underlying tissue. The BEST bus driver, Rakesh Karanjkar, was arrested and released on bail.
