Delhi: Homes gone, many say not all of them have got flats
From under a tin shed, Ashish watched a JCB excavator demolishing his ancestral home at Bhoomiheen Camp near Kalkaji in south Delhi on Wednesday. While Delhi Development Authority claimed that only the houses of slum dwellers allotted flats at the rehabilitation site in Kalkaji Extension were being demolished, Ashish wasn't among those who had been granted the alternative accommodation.
