Karnataka DGP Praveen Sood appointed as CBI director: All you need to know
Karnataka's director general of police (DGP) Praveen Sood has been appointed as the director of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a period of two years. Due to superannuate on May 31, 2024, Sood will get a fixed term until May 2025. The tenure can be extended up to five years.
