'Contract killer' wanted in Delhi murder cases, held in Meerut after encounter
SHO of Kankarkhera, Neeraj Malik, said, "Ranjeet Jha is a contract killer and is wanted in two murders and an 'attempt to murder' case in Delhi. He had been evading arrest since his bail on parole in a murder case in 2019. As per the Delhi police, the cops were trying to arrest him as he didn’t surrender himself before a court once the parole expired."
