In 5-month drive, 6,000 booked for not wearing seatbelts on Mumbai-Pune highways
State transport commissioner Vivek Bhimanwar on Friday announced that over 40,000 violators have been booked on Mumbai-Pune highways, which includes over 6,000 motorists for not wearing seatbelts, in an ongoing drive since December 1. Nearly 7,000 car drivers have been booked for speeding on the Expressway.
