Mumbai all set for its first road with utility corridor below
In April last year, the BMC began works on a pilot basis for laying of a utility corridor below Andheri's Lallubhai Park Road. A year later, this 1.8km road is on its way to completion with cross connection ducts also laid at every 30 metres which would ensure the road does not need to be dug for laying of cables in the future.
