Delhi 9th busiest airport in world
An Indian airport has for the first time made it to the list of the world's top 10 busiest airports. The passenger count of 5.9 crore (domestic plus international) in calendar year 2022 catapulted the Delhi airport to the ninth rank - up from 17th place in pre-Covid 2019, according to Airports Council International (ACI) data.
