Abetment & atrocities FIR filed in IIT-Bombay student's death
The special investigation team (SIT) of the city crime branch, formed to probe the alleged suicide of IIT-Bombay student Darshan Solanki on the Powai campus last month, on Thursday registered an FIR of abetment to suicide and under the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, against an unknown person.
