Observing that as a doctor, one is in a position of trust and power, and has a duty to act in the patient's best interest, a magistrate's court convicted and sentenced a 63-year-old south Mumbai-based facial plastic surgeon to six months imprisonment for insulting the modesty of a female patient who had visited his clinic to get her nose fixed, left broken after it rammed into an autorickshaw meter.
