Bombay HC quashes order, directs Sangli court to hear Raj Thackeray’s plea afresh in 2008 case

In partial relief of sorts for Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray, the Bombay high court on Thursday quashed an order passed by the Islampur sessions court in Sangli district that rejected his plea for a discharge in a 2008 case over alleged protest by his party workers over his arrest in Mumbai.
