Lawyers, affiliated to several local bar associations at Metropolitan Magistrate courts in Mumbai, abstained from work on Friday following a call by the Borivli Advocates’ Bar Association to protest a recent alleged assault by a local assistant police inspector on its member, Advocate Prithviraj Jhala.
