UBT camp asks Thane top cop to protect shakhas
The Thackeray faction wrote to the Thane police commissioner on Monday seeking protection of their properties including shakhas, alleging a few forceful attempts by the Shiv Sena led by CM Eknath Shinde to take them over. MP Rajan Vichare of the Uddhav camp claimed there was an attempt to take over one of their shakhas in Lokmanya Nagar on Sunday night.
