After the election for the six-member MCD standing committee descended into complete chaos on Friday over mayor Shelly Oberoi declaring a crucial vote invalid, leaving BJP with two members in the committee instead of three, BJP councillor Kamaljeet Sehrawat said, "The voting happened peacefully. The election commission observer was also there when the results were declared that three members of AAP and three of BJP have won. But the mayor is claiming that one slip will be declared invalid."
