Improper waste mgmt: NGT fines Delhi govt Rs 2.2k cr
National Green Tribunal (NGT) on Friday constituted a committee, headed by the lieutenant governor of Delhi, to deal with all issues related to solid waste management. It also directed Delhi government to pay Rs 2,232 crore as environmental compensation for improper management of solid and liquid waste.
