India has reported 124 new Covid infections, while the active caseload increased to 1,843, according to Union health ministry data updated on Sunday. The death toll stands at 5,30,750, the data stated. Active cases now comprise 0.01 per cent of total infections, while the national Covid-19 recovery rate has increased to 98.81 per cent, the ministry said.
