Absence of delineation of borders along LAC leading to problems: GOC-in-C of Eastern Command
Due to "different perceptions" about the Line of Actual Control (LAC), the situation with China along the eastern border remains "unpredictable", General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (Eastern Command) Lt Gen R P Kalita said on Friday. A recent security assessment by the Ladakh police suggested there could be more clashes between Indian and Chinese troops along the LAC as Beijing ramps up military infrastructure in the region.
