Work set to start on Delhi’s 5th waste plant
To minimise dumping of municipal waste at landfills, Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has completed the tendering process for setting up its fifth waste-to-energy plant at Bawana and approached Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) for approval of the proposed tariff rate.
