BMC plans 5,000 sanitary napkin vending machines
BMC will install 5,000 IoT-based sanitary napkin vending machines along with incinerators at public toilets across Mumbai. Earlier, deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis had announced several initiatives about toilets in Mumbai, including provision of essentials for women and frequent sanitisation of public toilets.
